Nester Play.

NESTER PLAY / DISPLAY CONCEPT

A padel scoreboard.
For the whole court.

A shared score that your group can follow. A venue display concept we are developing with real sessions in mind.

Prototype visualisation of a player scanning a Nester Play court display QR code

A 15-inch display, designed around your court

Our concept is a slim landscape screen mounted inside the court enclosure, showing the current teams and score. The image is a prototype visualisation, not a photograph of an installed customer product.

The goal is simple: players should be able to glance at a shared scoreboard instead of asking someone to take out a phone. The organiser still controls the session. We are developing the display experience alongside the phone and Apple Watch apps.

In development, not available to order.

Hardware, mounting, installation requirements, pricing and launch timing are not final. We are inviting venue enquiries to help shape the product.

How QR pairing is intended to work

  1. Prepare the session. The organiser chooses the players, rules and teams in Nester Play. Invited players accept and check in.
  2. Scan at the court. Open Connect to display and scan the QR code on the venue screen.
  3. Check the pairing code. Confirm the matching code so you know you are connecting to the correct display.
  4. Choose your scoring controls. Use your phone, or an Apple Watch paired with an iPhone. The display follows the session.

The display is for viewing. It does not give every player control of the score. The organiser remains the scorekeeper, so the group has one clear source for entered points.

More than the running points

During play

Teams, player names, points and games, with sets where relevant. Before play, follow team and serving guidance; between matches, see the next lineup.

After the session

The organiser can choose standings or a winner reveal on the display, or use the phone. The display returns to pairing when the presentation is finished or dismissed.

The hardware is optional. Players can use Nester Play without a court display, with scoring on their phone or compatible paired Apple Watch. See the Watch and phone requirements.

What should a venue consider?

  • A suitable location. Visibility, clearances and safe mounting need to be assessed for each court.
  • Power and internet. Pairing and live sharing need connectivity. Final installation specifications will be confirmed during development.
  • Your environment. Indoor and outdoor venues have different weather, impact and operating requirements. We have not published final hardware ratings.
  • Your players. Tell us how court bookings run, typical group sizes and how you would introduce a shared scoreboard.

No dedicated wristbands or watch-loan system are included in the current product description. Those remain ideas, rather than something a venue should expect to receive.

Interested in a display for your venue?

Send your club or company name, contact email and a little about the venue using our venue enquiry form. Location and number of courts help us understand the setting. You can also email [email protected].

This is an enquiry about a product in development, not an order or installation booking. We will reply by email. For the app itself, all current development features are free and public downloads are coming soon.
